The Interconnected Path to Sustainability: Understanding the UN Sustainable Development Goals

  In my last blog, I shared how my academic journey, from earning a Bachelor’s degree in Children and Youth Studies to completing a Master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Management — may appear to be two very different paths. However, the more I study sustainability and environmental systems, the clearer it becomes that these fields are deeply interconnected. Issues related to children, families, housing, health, economic stability, and environmental protection do not exist in isolation. They influence each other in complex ways.
